40 Years Forward - RADNH
Time & Location
About The Event
Rights & Democracy (RAD) is offering hope throughout New Hampshire and Vermont by building member-led chapters that empower people to work on local and state solutions to everyday concerns so we can ensure everyone has a voice, everyone is valued, and everyone thrives. RAD’s unique organizing model builds lasting and true change through voter engagement, community organizing, direct action, and leadership development.
Special guest Jennifer Flynn Walker of the Center For Popular Democracy <https://populardemocracy.org/> will explain how RAD’s work is a key part of a national strategy to taking our country forward in 2020. Jennifer has been a frontline national organizer for more than two decades (read this recent profile in The Nation). https://www.thenation.com/article/feminists-birddog-aca-kavanaugh/
Here in New Hampshire, the Monadnock Progressive Alliance is RAD’s largest affiliate. MPA is made up of people from Keene and other towns in the Monadnock Region who want to make a difference at the local, state and national level. They provide critical leadership to RAD - from local issue teams to our bi-state boards.
